Today we focus on fiber animals, with several breeds of angora rabbits and an angora goat.

We not only raise these animals, but work to educate the community about them and the farm to fiber process.

The buns were at the West Cobb Library this morning for the Spring Fling! Mr. Almond was the star of the show today as the basket bunny ✨ Alfie and I were at the West Cobb Senior Center this afternoon talking about the process of taking fluff and turning it into stuff! Some projects I’m working on tonight. I think I’ll officially declare it Mohair Monday! Alpacas all around me, but when will it be *my* turn to own some Sahara came home yesterday from her mini haircut vacation! Pickles was so happy to see her that she was making strange noises and I had to google it to make sure she was okay 😅 now to just get used to her naked appearance and get ready for babies hopefully in the next month! Scenes from today’s successful bunny petting zoo! Big thanks to all the kids that pet and fed the bunnies & were very respectful of them and the rules 💕 Give it a name! 3 mini skeins of worsted weight merino superwash dyed with microbial mushroom then cochineal dye 💕🍄🪲 Chai Tea would like to know if you’re coming to see us (and a bunch of cute baby animals!) at Living Hope Orchard and Farm tomorrow for their Easter Egg Hunt! Had some blank spots left so I mixed in some cochineal dye too!
